La Prova Uno Nebbiolo 'Colpevole' 2019

Nebbiolo is a member of our ‘Uno’ collection of wines which reflect an exceptional union of grower, vineyard site and variety. Here being Mark and Peter Saturno, Macclesfield and Nebbiolo. 

Nebbiolo, historically grown in Piedmont, in the north of Italy, finds an ideal home in the Longview Vineyard in Macclesfield, a warm southern sub-region of the Adelaide Hills. Tea, roses, star anise, brambles and the trademark grippy, nervy Nebbiolo palate. 

Climate | Cooler due to elevation.

Season | A crazy variable spring preceded a phenomenal ripening period of mild dry conditions.

Winemaking | Hand-picked, destemmed, wild fermented. Pressed after about two months on skins. Unfined and unfiltered. Vegan friendly.

Style | Violets, bramble and nervy grip.
